    At 3:00 You see Bell X-1 #6063 being readied , mated to a B-29 - then mothership takes off - shows the drop briefly - then equally brief shots of flight & landing and Scott Crossfield popping out ! Moves on to the Douglas X-3 Stiletto - crazy looking dart of a plane ! Great archive - sound or no sound.

    0:43 - The ancient peoples of Earth have NEVER thought the earth was flat. That is garbage invented by modern men, to help them feel superior to ancient men. But the fact of the matter, is that each and EVERY time men have asked the question, they have always answered, "It's a ball". To anyone who has ever approached a mountain range, that answer is instantly obvious, as the lower parts come into view as you get closer. I find it very frustrating that this horrible lie about our ancestors is perpetuated by people - even today!

    These are ice and dust particles illuminated by the sun. The “hole” in the middle is an artifact from the telephoto lens that they used. The overexposure is what is causing them to look like they are passing “behind” the tether, when they are not. No aliens, no ships, no organisms. Just dust or ice 🤦🏻‍♂️

    All caused by NASA's arrogance in saying the flight could go ahead. Also this & the loss of crew on Columbia could possibly have been prevented had there been and automatic ejection system for the crew cabin once trouble was sensed.

    AT P you are at your fastest , whereas the further you get away from p a is twice to 3 times as slow , how do you keep a euqal speed constant to p ? without using any burnable fuels , this means any , no combustion what so ever created to keep the constant , and it ahs to be constant , not speeding up or slowing down

      The only way to maintain an equal speed while in orbit is to maintain a constant altitude. That is, a circular orbit.

    • @maxfan1591
      @maxfan1591 Месяц назад

      @@jamesfox2857 Yes, everything in the universe exerts a gravitational pull on every other object in the universe. However in most situations all other objects can be ignored as their gravitational pull is negligible. Objects in low earth orbit fit into this category: the only object whose gravity matters in these cases is the Earth. In these cases, the fact that the Earth is orbiting the Sun is irrelevant. Now sure, you could also say that even in these situations a perfectly circular orbit is an impossible ideal: the Earth's atmosphere, the lumpiness of the Earth itself, and the fact that spacecraft aren't dimensionless points all contribute to this. So my question is this: what point are you trying to make? Is it that a perfect circular orbit is unattainable? Or is it that you think we can't even come close to achieving a circular orbit? If the first, you're correct, but only trivially so. If the second, you're incorrect: every geostationary satellite proves you wrong.
